The Method

The Feldenkrais Method ® is a method to learn about and make full use of our resources through movement. The aim of the method is to improve the awareness and sensitivity, expand the repertoire of movement, reduce energy expenditure by improving the effectiveness of our actions.

In fact, the quality of our movement reflects profoundly the way we perceive ourselves, our thoughts, our habits. The Feldenkrais Method is focused on improving the interaction between thought, self-image and the environment: to enrich the quality of the movement is to know and express ourselves better in everything that we want to do. The Feldenkrais Method, through movement, and stimulates the reorganization of the nervous system, bringing not only physical, but also a positive contribution to the emotional and thought processes. Through the Feldenkrais Method to become architects of their own well-being and aware of the route taken, making long-lasting the benefit.

The Feldenkrais Method teaches you to ask yourself with a playful attitude towards the movement and not to ever go beyond the limit of physical activity enjoyable and easy. When you begin to understand and practice the movement starting from this premise we are freed forever from the condition that "must suffer to see a result."
